Clavering and Little Hadham Pluckroses
Origins
This is a collection of three twiglets. The heads of two of the twiglets could be brothers. The head of the third twiglet is probably descended from someone in the first twiglet, but a gap in the available on-line records for Little Hadham makes the link uncertain.

4110 | COWLAND | Alice | There is a possible birth: baptism in March 1577 in Aythorpe Roding, Essex, father Richard Cowland. FHL Film No 853327. Aythorpe Roding is about 18 miles from Clavering. |
1719 | MUNSHOW | George | Father: John Munshow (baptism record). |
1721 | MUNSHOW OR PLUCKROSE | George | He was baptised on the same day as his parents married: 26 August 1732. |
1718 | PLUCKROSE | Elizabeth | A possible death in 1729. |
0851 | PLUCKROSE | George | A George Pluckrose was baptised at Clavering in 1599. Little Hadham is 4-5 miles from Clavering so this marriage 27 years later is probably (but not definitely) that of the same George. |
1726 | PLUCKROSE | George | It is assumed that this is a new George and not a late baptism of the George born in 1732. |
0860 | PLUCKROSE | Grace | VRI has a Mary baptised on this date and the IGI C/E has a Grace on the same date. Either (1) an error, or (2) twins. There has not been time between the date of this baptism, and the previous child, for another to have been born. |
1710 | PLUCKROSE | H3 George | His parentage is still unknown. He could be the son of John (PL0855) or of George (PL0858). |
1634 | PLUCKROSE | Mary | VRI has a Mary baptised on this date and the IGI C/E has a Grace on the same date. Either (1) an error, or (2) twins. There has not been time between the date of this baptism, and the previous child, for another to have been born. |
1716 | PLUCKROSE | Mary | She may have died in 1720. There is a burial record in Little Hadham, but no age is given. |
1713 | PLUCKROSE | William | Haven't found his first marriage yet, or the death of his first wife, Martha. He features in the local militia roll in 1758 and 1761. |
1724 | RUDD | Martha | William and Martha were not in prison. This was a so-called "Clandestine Marriage conducted by a clergyman who was usually confined in the Fleet Prison for debt. |
