The Dencendants of David Pluck
and Sarah King
Origins
David could be a son of William Pluck (PL0407) and Sarah Harriott (PL0468) - see Tree 4, the Arkesden branch. A christening record has not yet been found, however. The 1881 census suggests a date of birth some time around 1811 and the 1851 census suggests 1813; both give his place of birth as Arkesden. It is certainly possible that David is a son of William and Sarah since Mary Ann was baptised on 6 May 1810 and Samuel on 19 Feb 1812 (d. 5 days later) - a gap of 21 months. Christening dates are not the same as birth dates, of course. David and Sarah, and three of thir children, are in the 1841 census of Arkesden.
