I am a retired Chartered Chemist who used to live in West Sussex. For most of my career I worked at the Laboratory of the Government Chemist, in London. In June 2008 I moved to SE Queensland in Australia.

My main interests are family history (in particular this one-name study), computing and gardening. The first two interests complement each other well. I have a couple of computers which aid my family history activities and also provide me with a good deal of interest along the way.
